Although, I did get an AA MasterCard targeted offer of 3 points per dollar at gas stations, restaurants, grocery, etc until March 31. Keep a look out if you have that card, you need to sign up by tomorrow.

Yeah I got it on the executive card too. Pretty awesome. Working on two first class on Cathay pacific to Asia for next fall. Need all the points I can get.

Vinese wine club gave me 5k USAir points for making 2 orders. Think the offer is still out there. 12 bottles came out to $12 a bottle. Don't know how good any of the wines they sent me are, but probably a good deal for wine drinkers. I'll probably sign my wife up too at some point if the deal is still around and the wine is decent.

Speaking of the Executive card. It now covers insurance for rental cars worldwide. Just refuse the coverage offered anywhere in the world and you have full coverage.

Gonna use it in St. Maarten next week.

Nice. And you're going to need it several years ago our trunk was crow barred open at Orient Beach and two years ago the rental car company tried to blame me for pre existing damage. Driving is risky business over there.
I'm only doing cabs or busses from now on. It's not an easy task getting cabs in Grand Case late night though.

Teddy, it was targeted to their higher end clientele. Don't take it personal but seriously I think I deleted the email. If I recall correctly it was a one click email. So it's not likely it can be forced.

Which card? Off the top of my head, the cards that do offer a biz and personal, the biz usually has better benefits if any.

Just applied for the citi AA business card. Basically did it so it wouldn't limit my personal applications through citi.

One question, I didn't get instant approval, so I called citi. They said it wasn't a credit problem, but I have fraud protection on my account (I have not specifically requested this, but have received letters in the mail from the credit bureau stating fraud protection has been added to my account) and it will take a few a extra days to approve. Do any of you guys have any experience with the fraud protection notice that requires extra confirmation via credit bureaus?

I just checked status online, and I was approved $20,000 limit on the aa card, but took an extra day secondary to the fraud protection.

Currently a chase sapphire holder, it's ok. Like building my points and getting a free vacation every 2-3 yrs..
Thinking about a total rewards CC, as much as I'm at harrahs nola ,and go to Vegas 2 times a yr. would be nice to be treated as a high roller. Lol.

ok guys I have a question for you. I just got me and my wife the us airways card to get 100,000 miles. Well I go to look at the prices for our vacation spot coming up and they are double what united is charging. I dont have a united card. Would it be wise to apply for the united card since I just got approved for the us airways card? I have 4 credit cards open at the moment.

Im confused.

Why are you focusing on the cash price of the tickets if you are collecting miles, which I assume you want to use for said trip?

I guess I should have said the us airways flights are double the miles of the united flights. They just made a jump with in the last week from when I applied for the card. They were the same as united so I applied for the us airways card to cover the flights. well I just got approved and go to check the flights and they are almost 50% more miles this week and yes I searched in private mode. Now i dont have enough miles to cover the flight since they went up

No. I'm wrong. They left March 30 last year.
