How many guys do you usually hunt with and how many is the max for you?

I usually hunt alone. Probably the other 25% of the time i'll hunt with 2 guys. I always do much better hunting solo. (With the exception of teal season ) May have to do with hiding layout blinds is easier.

See a lot of pictures of guys hunting 6-10 in a field. Seems like way too much to me.

Usually 2 guys. Occasionally alone.

And yeah, very true.

Easier to hide and you can only blame yourself for flaring birds.

2-3 on average.

Max would probably be 4. Our blinds aren't very big but I'm still not a fan of large hunting groups

2-4. I rarely hunt alone. I much prefer smaller groups from a concealment standpoint, but since we hunt public land I take all the help I can get as far as dragging in and setting up gear. Besides, the fellowship is half the fun!

I try to drag my dad out but he didn't hunt hard this winter

the other day he watched 1/4 mile away as I decoyed geese

Typically hunt with a buddy of mine, occasionally we will have a third.

But I absolutely hate hunting 3 people in a blind, middle guy (usually me) gets totally screwed on his shooting lane.

If/when the ducks are here I will put a gun behind every tree. 13 man mallard limit is the most I've ever done. 52 mallards is enough anyway. No need to get greedy

I like to do about 4. 4 in my pits is cutting it close, I prefer 2 or 3 in them although I dont mind hunting alone.

Timber in Arkansas we usually end up with about 10 people (myself, a few family members and some old timers). I just lay low on those hunts, pull when needed and watch the brawls ensue when a band gets picked up.

I hunt alone most of the time. I almost always do better alone. I have one real good buddy that I enjoy hunting with. He and I work well. Most time when birds are on us we don't say a word and shoot at the same time.
Hunt public land all of the time.

When I hunted in a field we were all in layout blinds, I think there was 5 or 6 of us, but having a large decoy spread and being in a field allows you to spread out a big and give you different angles for the birds.

However, hunting down here its usually my brother and I or us +1 at the most.

Yeah, we had a 7ft trailer full of decoys plus up in South Dakota you can rent sacks of decoys from the game wardens where you draw fields from so we had three sacks of shells from them as well.

It was a frick ton of decoys, took us an hour or so to put them out then we would go back in the trailer and cook breakfast and wait till we heard the birds.

6 person limit in 30 minutes of geese.

I couldn't do it down here in a duck blind though, your blind would have to be huge and way to much work to grass up to fit 4-6 people in it.
