I mean we are just terrible without him. Not only do we not make 3s without him, we can't even attempt them. His spacing does wonders for the guards and Tyreke is just a completely different play with him on the court. I'm too lazy to do the work but I'd be really interested to see how Tyreke's stats compare w/ Anderson playing to w/o him.

People were wondering how these new signings would work together and it appears Ryno is the key. We are fricked without him.

That being said, its Monty's job to adjust without him on the court.

I know Ryno is our most valuable trade asset but I just don't think we can afford to get rid of him. Dell needs to work some magic to get rid of Gordon for a SF that can shoot.

We just can't catch a fricking break, mon. When we have the whole roster healthy we look pretty damn good. I want to fire Monty too but that isn't going to solve our injury woes.

Oh I completely agree but it feels like Anderson being out effects us more than any other player on our team

Aren't Miller and Morrow supposed to be good 3 point shooters? I know Morrow has been shitty but let them sit on the wing and space the floor..I think Miller especially should get more playing time now that Ryno is out.

When we are healthy we look like a team that could make the playoffs that is one or two moves away from being legit.

When Anderson or Davis or Reke goes out we look like the fricking Bobcats

If they can't win games without Anderson, then the issue goes beyond the the personnel. Williams need to adapt... Plain and simple.

Apparently David Thorpe on ESPN talked about a trade I've been thinking should happen for a while. I already put it on this board tonight, but will say it again, Pek to New Orleans, Asik to Minnesota, Anderson to Houston.

All 3 teams are made significantly better, and all the new pieces fit perfectly with the franchise players. Bill Simmons and Jalen Rose talked about this trade, and agreed it's great for everyone involved.

Anyone who thinks Anderson with Davis is better than Pek with Davis doesn't know basketball.

adding 4mil to our payroll and losing our only or what seems to be our only 3pt shooter isn't a good trade for us. this is a trade that benefits houston more than anyone. Unless they plan on getting someone to take EG's contract and getting us a young piece, hell no.

ETA: If we're giving up ryno, it better come with a one way ticket for EG as well. Love his attitude and commitment this year, but 14.3mil this year, 14.9mil next year, and 15.5mil player option the following year is not worth it for a guy that puts up 15/3/3. We have too many mouths to feed when it comes to shooting, taking him out opens up 13 more shots to be taken by AD, jrue, reke, and ryno (if healthy/on the team). EG can be a #2 option somewhere else and succeed. I hope he does, but we need him off the books.

One, he's not the only 3 point shooter they have. Two, if your "only" 3 point shooter is a pf that makes your franchise player play out of position in a bad offensive system, how exactly is that good for the team?

Here's the deal, if no one wants to trade Anderson, all of you need to stop b!tching about the team.

What the hell do you guys want? You guys whine about not having a center, but don't want to give up what it will take to get one.

You guys whine about the defense and getting beat up on the boards, but don't want to give up Anderson, and want to keep playing Anderson and Davis together, which is a big part of those problems.

You guys whine about not wanting to go all offense, which I got trashed for suggesting they should do, but don't want to get rid of a guy that makes this team pretty much have to go all offense small ball.

By the way, this isn't meant specifically for you. Just the board in general.

Who's whining about that? People are constantly complaining about the offense here despite having a pretty highly rated offense. Part of the reason so many people want George Karl is they think he'll make better use of all the offensive weapons.

I'm always up for discussion, its the only thing that usually happens around here anyway.

we aren't shooting or getting much space. ryno's spacing ability needs to be replaced for us to willingly move him.

As of right now, yes, he puts AD in a bad spot because AD is still young, he's still developing physically and mentally. DH was pretty mature by the time ryno came around so it worked well for them. I still think it can still work in a couple of years.

The issue is like I said above, we can't trade him for just a center. we'd still end up with spacing issues that we're having the past few games. we need to either develop/keep a decent 3 pt shooter instead of flipping them or letting them walk in FA or we need to somehow work a deal that ships ryno/EG for cap space, picks, or someone who can shoot a damn 3 ball
