Bridge of Revenge? (aka The Chicago Way in NJ)
Posted on 1/8/14 at 11:54 am

Summary: Apparently there were some "suspicious" lane closures on the George Washington Bridge near Fort Lee, NJ, the lanes were closed for four days.
Turns out that NJ Gov Christie may have ordered them "closed" as the town's mayor didn't support his re-election.

(I've hammered the Dems many times. But if a Rep needs hammering, so be it)

It was the Port Authority that ordered the closures, claiming they were part of a traffic study
that's extremely funny to me.

This is pretty dumb, but further fuels the narrative on the left that Christie is a "bully". Sadly, if this is the worst of the skeletons the Romney camp was scared of, "Christie 2016".

If this is true then it's no different from Obama's ongoing abuse of power.

Not looking good for the fat guy.

I have a feeling this story will only get bigger. This falls right into the Christie/bullying narrative.

Well the way Chris Christie treated the Romney camp would classify to me as criminally insane if half of what I understand to be true occurred.
So yeah, I'm really concerned about Chrisite continuing as a 'conservative' because he is horrible human being.

Christie has too many skeletons in the closet to win the nomination, imo.
I just don't trust him..he is a sleaze ball. I view him as the fat old school crime boss type.

I would agree. Fattie mcfatterson is fricked.
And what is interesting is he could have shut this down really quickly by investigating and firing everyone - claim he had no knowledge. the coverup is what gets you.

Yup.
Here is The article that I was speaking of,
quote:
The list of questions Myers and her team had for Christie was extensive and troubling. More than once, Myers reported back that Trenton’s response was, in effect, Why do we need to give you that piece of information? Myers told her team, We have to assume if they’re not answering, it’s because the answer is bad.
quote:
The easiest solution would be for Christie to resign as governor if he got the nod. A few hours after the conference call, Romney phoned him to float that notion. “Are there any circumstances in which you’d consider resigning to become the nominee?” Mitt asked.
[...]Romney hung up the phone convinced by Christie’s reaction that resignation was not in the cards.

If true, what a joke. Wouldn't be surprising though.

I love how these corrupt frickers use gmail to try and hide shite. They do that in Louisiana and Chicago governments. Yes men are scolded for using public email and are instructed to set up a gmail account.
Should be criminal.
Should be criminal.

Rachel Maddow has focused on this "controversy" at least 7 or 8 times in just the last six weeks. In fact, to say she is obsessed with the topic would not be an exaggeration.

Chistie is Outraged
He is claiming that his Deputy Chief of Staff did all of this without his knowledge and then conspired to keep it a secret. Even his own supporters have to be raising an eyebrow to that excuse.
quote:
“What I've seen today for the first time is unacceptable. I am outraged and deeply saddened to learn that not only was I misled by a member of my staff, but this completely inappropriate and unsanctioned conduct was made without my knowledge. One thing is clear: this type of behavior is unacceptable and I will not tolerate it because the people of New Jersey deserve better. This behavior is not representative of me or my Administration in any way, and people will be held responsible for their actions.”

LOL at the lefties and the media running this as front page headlines...
Anything to start the ball rolling taking out R frontrunners.
After Bhengazi, the IRS and God knows how many scandals dusted under the rug by the MSM this is just

People like larger than life characters. This may actually help the guy. Issues don't matter, but free publicity sure helps.

I cannot for the life of me believe this stupid fricking shite has legs. When this "controversy" first started coming up a few weeks ago I figured it would die a quick death, but of course I shouldn't be surprised that the MSM is latching onto this like rabid pit bull. Just surprised it's this early. frick I hate the MSM! Christie's not my kind of Republican/"conservative", but if he's on the ticket so be it, cause I sure the hell ain't voting for a Dem. Either that or Come On Rand!

Well, technically youre still hammering a Dem. So, we're good

You should be happy they are going after a Dem for a change.
