Pretty interesting little chalk up. Check it out if you wish, but I've C&P'd most of it.

I know they smashed us last time, but I have to say, I love our chances in this one. Kinda felt like CSP shut down the offense around the 3rd Q last time and didn't show them anything else.
As the saying goes: It's hard to beat a team twice in the same season. Certainly in the same venue.

Probably the most surprising stats to me. Watching this defense slow down McCoy last week gives me hope.

I did find that surprising as well... Their O-Line truthfully isn't that good. If they had an immobile QB that number would be wayyy more.

Loved watching McCoy get frustrated btw. That was huge for the D.

Their oline was banged up all year and is now at full strength. To say that they "aren't that good" is a joke.

in the last 4 games, since they've all been "healthy," they've given up 14 sacks..........

I think more than any other year in the SP era, New Orleans has the defense to go on the road and win games. This group may not be as opportunistic as 2009, but they can shut teams down.

If I had to bet my house I'd take Seattle. But I think the Monday night game was a complete abberration. The Saints offense turned the ball over early (credit Seattle) and the emotion of the opponent/crowd just caused things to snowball in a hurry. We've seen that happen many, many times in the Dome.

IMO if the Saints can avoid the crippling TO early and get this one to the half tight, the offense will find its footing and start to hum. Find a little bit of a running game like last week, and the Saints offense becomes the scariest in the league

A better way to compare them to get a feel for how the game will go would be to compare the Saints stats in their 9 round games vs the Seahawks 8 home games.

I think you can throw the last game out of the window. Althought to Seattles credit they did play a great game anyone who says that the saints played any where near what we are used to seeing is out their mind. From our pass protection, to our defense and even to Drew we did not play a saints kind of game. I really see us getting more presure on Wilson this game and hopefully if we can get Lewis back playing alot better defense all around. Im not saying that its going to be easy by any means but it is more then doable. Also in games like this where they beat you silly last game you have to love to have coach Payton as hes one of the master motivators.

Also remember that last game, the Saints didn't have to deal with Percy Harvin.

Although I do think hes a great weapon I dont really see him being a huge part of this game. I think for this game hes more hype then anything.
