How much does Jeremy Hills' past play into his decision to go pro?

I am not a conspiracy theorist but what if this scenario happened. The judge moved Hills court date up so he could play last year but for his freedom from jail, Hill had to commit to play thru his junior year so he could do his community service and other stipulations of his probation in Baton Rouge? Maybe the judge is a huge LSU fan?

5-8%. As per Kenny at the Wienerschnitzel last night.

Great start.

Oh wow. Yeah, no judge will keep someone on probation from getting a well-paying job. Sorry.

in normal circumstances i'd agree that no judge would stop someone from moving on to get a good paying job...
however, look at the circumstances involved. there may not have been anything in writing, but it could have been understood between the laywers and the judge that in return for probation, he'd have to stay at LSU...

Yeah, that's a massive, massive stretch. They were never going to revoke his probation, no attorney/client would willingly make that compromise.

People act as if he's some troubled kid. Did he make some mistakes? Yes. But he's been fine the entire season and we haven't heard a peep about anything like that. If anything, he might want to come back to prove a point.

Regardless of his motivation, if he returns, he isn't coming back because a judge ordered him to. Because like... this is the real world and stuff.

Yep. Let's be honest here. The judge had him by the balls. He was in no position to bargain for anything.

I would assume quite a bit. I am sure that the past character issues have hurt his draft stock. He is the most talented back in the country; he needs to keep his nose clean for an entire year, and this could vault him into the first round.

Staying says a lot about the character of him. If he comes out and says he's staying because he owes it to Coach Miles and he puts up numbers like this year, his stock will be up next year.

That makes too much sense to be wrong.

What are you talking about? There wasn't a shot in hell she was going to revoke. And not one judge ever would stipulate that he DOESN'T get a job in order to stay out of jail and avoid revocation. That isn't how shite works.
