Can anyone recommend a doctor (general practitioner) in the Baton Rouge area?

doctors are all the same now. you get 10 minutes per office visit. if they can prescribe you medication to cure what ails you in that time you're in business.

Not true. Not everybody is like that.

It's funny how people can have such different opinions. He was my doctor for about 6 months back in 2010, and I absolutely hated him. It was totally a personality thing, and I have no idea if he's a "bad" doctor when it comes to figuring out what wrong with somebody. Just thought he was an a-hole

Adrian Landry at the BR Clinic.
Wish he would leave the BR Clinix because that place is 3rd world bad, but I deal with jr because he's that good.

On the other hand, the place has in-house radiology that will scan you, interpret the scans, and then coordinate appointments with the doctor who ordered the scans so that by the time you get back upstairs, your doctor has the radiologist's report ready to review with you.
I long for the days when I was able to get that kind of care in the slums of Addis Ababa.

Dr. Harold Brandt, Baton Rouge Clinic. He's been my doctor for over 20 years.
Not sure if he is taking new patients now or not.

I don't think you mean a "general practitioner." A GP is usually someone who only completed an internship year and did not pursue a residency. I think you mean a primary care physician or family medicine doctor. It's just semantics but MDs and DOs who are primary care/family med don't like being called "GPs"
