Can someone explain to me what makes Charlie Strong a more attractive coach than James Franklin.

He has coached and learned under 3 elite head coaches: Lou Holtz, Steve Spurrier, and Urban Meyer. A lot of valuable experience there.

Strong has the better resume and handles himself better... IMO Franklin comes across as unprofessional at times. No one knows about it bc he coaches at vandy.

Strong has been a part of much more successful teams than Franklin has.

Yeah, and the year before that they won the Orange Bowl, and started the 2008 season ranked #7 before they lost to UK.
Everyone knew they had talent, but Kragthorpe wasn't a good fit. Strong comes in and they are instantly better.
It's not hard to understand really...

I'm a wvu fan, and I'd consider our program in the shitter. I guess it just depends on your definition of shitter

Franklin has brushed a rape case under the rug with the help of the media.
