Do you think this recipe will work for crock pot pork chops?

The recipe calls for 8 oz of cream cheese
10 oz of cream of mushroom soup
1 teaspoon of minced garlic.

I was thinking of adding some chopped vegetable blend, onions, celery, bell pepper

Or some diced tomatoes.

Do you guys think either would work with the recipe. Opinions and ideas are greatly appreciated.

I would grill or fry a chop. I can't imagine chop soup from a crock pot, but that is just me.

I'm sure it would work just as well as if you simmered it on the stove but I'm not real big on the recipe.

What they said....this sounds like it will make a pasty, pale mess. Crockpot won't add any caramelization/browning, and the white cream cheese and white soup make for a terrible looking result. Aromatics or tomatoes won't help.

Grill/fry the chops and look for a sauce recipe on here. Crockpot pork isn't very good.

It might "work" but I would never do it.
A pork chop takes all of 7 minutes to cook. Now if you want smothered pork chops and turnips I can give you a recipe.
