Did both and T-25 is more geared more towards losing weight than gaining mass. If I were you, I'd do X3. It will complement your running very nicely, imo.

Best of luck to you. It's a good workout with good variety. I think you'll enjoy it.

Downloaded this today and started shortly after. Already had the pull up bar and bands because I planned on doing this a long time ago.

Just doing the Classic schedule to start. But it was pretty rough. Boat pose is a painful sumbitch, but I didn't pause the work or anything, just sometimes didn't get all 10 done in the amount of time they did. I'll just use that as a guide moving forward.

Looking forward to getting into shape.

Got pull up bar set up. I can only do 3. I wish I got it at the beginning instead of relying on bands. The pull up assist comes in Tuesday and I'm looking forward to it. I know I'm going to be way more sore but the progress will be worth it. After I finish phase three I think I'm gonna try the elite block then go back to regular p90x and mix in T25 for cardio. I don't think I'm ready for body beast just yet.

Yeah, it will just take getting used to. The assist does wonders.

Never got to do the elite block. I imagine it's a lot like X2, so I'm not too worried about it. I would love to do that X3 Ab Ripper, tho.

All I need now is a bench and I can do Body Beast. I'm pretty pumped about it.

I keep one foot on ground and it still wore me out. The elvator pull ups were brutal, even with chair under to help.

Just got done with X2 Chest, Back, and Balance + X2 Ab Ripper. Holy cow. Probably one of the hardest workouts. Unbelievable. I'm gassed. After doing both X2 and X3, X3 just doesn't compare. X2 is so legit. I was sore halfway through the workout. I felt like I didn't have anything left and there was still 32 minutes on the clock.

Just started t25 today after not working out for 10 years. Thank god for low impact Tania. Gonna stick with it and see how it goes.

you guys have the p90x pullup bar or just a regular bar?

I don't want something that I have to hard mount on my door so I was just curious what you guys were using.

Also I plan on downloading it on my Xbox1 tonight, can I do day 1 without the pullup bar?

brass I have a Rouge pull up bar in my garage. Way better than any door frame setup.

Yeah I know man, but if you could see my garage right now

Plus when its raining my dogs are in there and theres no way in hell I could legitimately workout in there. I'll probably get a real bar down the road, but right now I just wanna get started on something.

As of now I only run about 8 miles a week (if that), mostly b/c I have young kids and can't leave them home alone to go work out so having something I can do in my home will be a plus.

I use the P90X bar. It's pricey, but it has held up admirably. I abuse that thing.

Do you need it for day one's workout?

You guys follow the meal plan too or just kind of stick to the basics like chicken, broccoli and brown rice diet?

Of X3? There are two moves on the bar: chin circles and pull chin pull. I think you can use bands, but the bar is better. Walmart has a pullup bar for a good price.

Yeah, I just did the obvious. Brown rice, quinoa, steel cut oats, eggs, chicken, turkey, avocado, peanut butter, nuts, lean beef, fish, unsweetened almond milk, veggies

Yeah, gonna do it on Xbox Fitness, since the motion sensor can help coach your movements and estimate your heart rate. Its also easier to yell out "pause" than find it on a remote so I can catch up.

Yeah thats what I was planning on doing. Ive read mixed reviews on the meal plan. Some say its an absolute must and others say its a little expensive and unpractical.

ETA: I dont have any bands, just the the small set of free weights I have.
