Thats what I'm kinda worried about. I wanted ostrich but can't find a pair in town in 12 wide and hate to order online without trying on. Cavenders has these on the shelf right now.

What's the rush? If you're spending that much, get the boots you really want.

Don't spend 600 on boots you aren't sure about

They'll last a long damn time, so get what you want

I would go with alligator belly if you want the gator print or full quill but I'm not a huge fan of that square toe on a dress boot.

Tell them to call another store and see if they have the ones you want at that store and if they do they will ship them. Thats what i did and it took like 4 days to come in .

Why doesn't the gator wrap all the way around?

I would prefer non square toe and belly leather not the ridged tail on the toe.

I would probably still wear them, but like someone said, if you are spending that amount then get what you really want

I have a pair similar to that and love them, but my Lucchese black cherry lizard skins are the best looking boot I've ever seen. The lizards are my "dressy" boots, and the gators are my casuals. People seem to like them - I get lots of compliments on the gators.
