it's been a long, long while since my last visit but yesterday's visit reminded me why it's pretty much the best restaurant in VP.

Oysters were nice and deliciously fresh, smoked duck and andouille gumbo was awesome, shrimp poboys were perfectly fried and crispy.

love this place

It've always enjoyed it. Servers have a great attitude and they're very attentive. Food kills it if you order right. I can't even remember what I had there last, but I know it impressed me. Execution is 9/10s of the battle in a restaurant and they do it it well, even if it's simpler fare.

Were you the only Asian patron that day?

:kige:

Not a big Shucks fan, but I usually hit up Dupuy's at least once everytime I'm in Abbeville.
