Saw this discussed elsewhere, I say yes.

29.2 % FG

10 MPG

2.4 PPG 2 RPG 1.4 PER

at the Cavs continuing to flounder post-Lebron... looked like they may have a bright future with Irving and the #1 pick/Waiters... but Irving has regressed and Waiters isn't progressing. Bynum turned out to be just OK, not great either.

This is one of those anyone with a brain could see coming from a mile away. It's mind boggling people get paid millions of dollars to be this stupid.

When your idea of conditioning is the walk from your car to Tim Horton's...you've got a problem.

I was so happy when the Cavs "won" the lottery bc I knew Dan was going to frick it up.

ETA: To be fair to Gilbert, the entire class looks weak overall

He should be a sophomore in college and we're 30 games into his rookie season. He's still really raw and I hope the Cavs knew that when they drafted him

Kwame and Olowakandi set the bar pretty low, he's got plenty of time.

The Cavs are a cautionary tale of tanking gone wrong.

Just bad management. Pretty funny that Danny Ferry is having success away from Lord Gilbert.

He'll be alright (especially if he can get the hell out of Cleveland), but he's definitely not comparable to other one and dones who have come out as #1.

It's the Cavs we're talking about.

Haven't seen him play much. Is it a fitness problem or is he just having trouble adjusting to the league? Those numbers are awful.

He's fat and undersized.

If he gets his shite together, he could become a productive player, but this was one of those picks the owner/GM made cause they thought they were smarter than everyone else.

Fitness is probably the biggest factor, shoulder surgery kept him off the court in the offseason and then he was diagnosed with asthma and sleep apnea, he's had a rough start.

To be fair, it was an awful draft class and they took the player with maybe the most upside. The 'safe' pick in Oladipo that everyone would agree now was the right pick has a PER in the 11's and shooting under 40%.

I love Bennett solely for the humor he provides when he's in. Kid looks like a lost puppy out there.

Ah okay. I liked Bennett's game coming out of college, and thought he was a pretty good all-around forward with good length. Obviously, not worthy of the #1 pick though. Pretty disheartening if he can't even get in shape.

He just got back to his college weight a couple weeks ago.. he doesn't attack the rim at all. The beat reporters seem to think his shoulder isn't 100%.

Plus Mike Brown is a fricking idiot and spends no time on offense in practice.
