From the O-T - I called somebody out and I want to get validation:

I'm saying Taurus PT92F - but are there other possibilities? I'm making the call on the overall Beretta 92FS design with frame-mounted safety. The grips may have been changed - I thought that Taurus has a similar logo on center of their stock grips, which is the only thing that could suggest otherwise (you know what? I didn't even process that the baby's hand is covering where the logo would be - )?

What other 92 variants could it be?

ETA: I was responding to "Sexy 1911" comment -

RBWilliams8 - however, to his credit, he was a man about it and walked it back with a solid mea culpa.

Sometimes I don't care, but something like this.

That's like calling a Triumph a Rolls Royce.

It looks like a Beretta, but the slide lock doesn't look like Beretta's.

definitely a taurus. The screws used on the Beretta grips are smaller than those used on the Taurus.

Beretta 92FS

Taurus PT92F

That's why I'm thinking Taurus (or another clone) - the beavertail looks a little long, it has a frame mounted safety, and the slide stop - although the slide stop could be aftermarket - the safety would not be typical of a North American Beretta 92 - and I'm not aware of them making one with a frame-mounted at all - obviously the M9s I've carried all had slide-mounted safeties.

The only Berettas I know with frame safeties are the expensive Billenniums.

I had never heard of the 92A1. I didn't know there were so many variants. I found this chart showing the differences between the models:

That baby's parents should be reported to child protection. Imagine, dressing an infant in that crap.

Not a Beretta 92FS//M9.
Could be a Kel-Tec 1911 or a Lorcin 1911.

What Fudd cut out the trigger guard ??
