Here with the family for the game and the support for the Panthers is weak. Walked around downtown and didn't see a soul wearing Panthers stuff. Had multiple people tell me "go Saints". This city is boring as hell btw.

Charlotte is turrible. My family is from the dirty eastern portion of the state which is a million times better.

Really isn't much to do around here. Considered going to the Bobcats game but wasn't going to waste money on that. Walked around the stadium as well and it's nothing more than a glorified college stadium

Yeah, it kind of is.

Worst road trip ever and I go to one each year, sometimes two.

It's the lack of trash, figuratively and literally.

Interesting for you to say that. I've lived here for some time and everyone that's ever visited has always commented on what a fun city it is - several ended up moving here. My guess is that you just don't know where to go and decided to hate on it out of frustration. Odd that you're also posting online during this as well. Last time I went to a new city I wasn't posting about it on a forum while I was walking around.

Not saying that it's not a beautiful and clean city, cause it is. Very nice place. Was just walking around earlier and didn't see all that much stuff to do. I'm sure if I looked harder there are things to do. But I didn't.

I'd describe it as sterile. I spent some time there and there are some nice restaurants and lovely areas. It just feels like any other good sized city.

It's a nice place but very vanilla. Doesn't mean it's bad but it's boring compared to NOLA. Most places are.

Be happy that you like vanilla while others like neopolitian

I know a young couple, both professionals in broadcast sales and in architecture, who decided to give Charlotte a try a few years ago. After two years they looked at each other, took their two kids and GTFO back to N.O.
