Where is it?

What say ye?

Not asking for a particular species, or type of hunt. What part of the state most consistently kills quality ducks?

Agreed. SouthEast Teaxs and Southwest LA have had some really good numbers of quality ducks. Headed there tomorrow for a week of hunting.

I've seen water with corn floating in it not produce ducks. Location matters most!

This is the correct answer. Find Catahoula Lake on a map, put a stake in the ground, tie a LONG piece of string to it, and head east with a long piece of string. When you get to a really big river called the Mississippi, go 50 or 75 miles up and down the point where you hit the river due east of Catahoula Lake. All parts that that the string has covered would be a great place to hunt.

No offense pal, but that's pretty dumb. That string would be a jumbled mess once you got a few hundred yards from your stake.

Doesn't have the consistency of the prime marsh areas IMO. (I hunt in your string area and on the coast. Yes, the best hunts(mallard stringers) are on the river, but we haven't missed a single limit this year on greys, teal, widgeon, etc on the coast.
I dont know anyone along the river that has been that consistent.

He's not just ANY dachshund. He comes from a prized pedigree and doesn't take shite from strangers.
