Didn't know if this should be in coaching changes or in recruiting board, it hits both topics really

Satan is doing his last min stops to write checks for these boys. First TB and now LF. I'm not surprised.

Next? I thought he already was the coach at Alabama.

Sounds like LF doesn't really care if he stays or leaves Alabama.

How would that not be a question/answer he would want to hear about first hand? Just seems crazy to me. You would have to think that would be a game changing piece of info for such a big decision

He doesn't, but I bet he's right. Actually, that's a smart observation.

Translation: I can't be there when Saban offers my coach a job.

Assuming he respectfully just got up and walked out (which I do), it really makes me love this kid more. It's easy to get enamoured with on the field highlights but when a recruit separates himself from a fiasco like this it shows maturity and leadership. It also is great to show Saban that he doesn't have time for his crap

That's my take on it if he really did walk out.

Buga already has his mind made up no matter how new of an Escalade Saban offers him

Crutchfield isn't sure how the payment plan would work if Saban left Bama and went to a new college.
So Saban is going to leave for Texas and then sign back up with Alabama a week later? Makes sense

He was also firmly committed to the Dolphins.

He simply is going to rely on Crutch's judgement on that one.

BTW, there's a glimpse into why some kids are waiting, even if they are decided already. Crutch insists on being at many of these visits (as do many HS HC's). Some coaches have a much larger role to play than we assume (it's always been that way).

Hope recruited know he's only on a long recruiting trip so he can stay out of Tuscaloosa right now. And away from daily questions about whether he's leaving.

Has BAMA fans came into this thread saying that it's closer than people realize with Fournette?
