I just bought a new truck and need some running boards and a bedliner, and would like some input on dealing with Kirk's. Gracias!

I had a goose neck hitch installed at the one on Airline in Gonzales. It went well.

That's all I got.

Went there twice, walked out both times. Rude sales staff and way overpriced.

I worked there for a while.

If you go to the Baton Rouge store ask for Mrs. Terri or Karl.

Prarieville store, ask for Smitty (David Smith).

You'll have the best luck dealing with these folks.

I bought a hitch from them and got it installed there. When I came out to look at it after it had been installed, the hitch was scratched up and looked used. I inquired about it and they said sorry, nothing they can do, that's how they come and they're not taking anything off because of the numerous scratches. I told them to take it off and I didn't pay a damn thing. I never went back and I never will. This was a few years ago and I know they're still around but I never hear anything good about Kirks.

Install the running boards yourself. It's extremely easy.

Get a bedliner installed by Line-X or Rhino Linings.

Don't use Kirks. They are overpriced arse holes.

Capital Campers has everything you need, good prices, and great service.

I'll never shop there again. Oh and don't think you are going to EVER return anything you bought. They don't do that. Place sucks arse.

It's basically turned into nothing but a rim shop. There was a time when it had good prices and a good selection for trucks. As somebody else said, Capitol Campers is good. Personally I would order them online and install them myself, then have the guy on Florida in Walker spray a Rhino Liner in it.

ETA: "Them" mean running boards or nerf bars.
