He deserves to be there, IMO, but in no way does he deserve to win it or even be considered the best player there.

Does he? The award is based on 2013. The whole basis for his invitation in the first place was his teams record and taking his team to another championship. That went out the window. His team is 11-1 like a whole bunch of others. Everybody else that's there has numbers that blow his 223 ypg out of the water. In a relatively weak year for Heisman candidates, I don't think there was reason to invite 6 finalists.
