Leading your team to 11-1 over LEADING your team to 8-4 says HOWDY................

IF Manziel was THAT GOOD They would not have lost the games they did......... Face it. Its a TEAM award, with ONE guy that stands out.......

If you cant see this. YOU are the dumbass here.

So the award for the best player in college football should not go to the best player in college football?

AJ being invited makes the heisman even less credible these days.

anyone else think AJ finished 6th which is why all 6 were invited? That's an unusually high number of players being invited. I guess they really wanted AJ there

I'm ok with him being there, he put up some amazing stats. 1800 rushing yards and 22 rushing TD's is impressive regardless what conference you play in. AJ being picked is freaking ridiculous thou

AJ McCarron

I know there is some new bullshite narrative every once in awhile with this award.

but come on.

he's being rewarded for having a good career.

COOL frickING STORY BRO!!!!!

the award is supposed to go to the player with the most outstanding season.

but I will say this, had Fluker stayed, he could have been really helpful. That O-line of theirs would have been a lot more physical than they were this year.

definitely would have opened more gaping holes for Yelding and Drake and setting up play action for AJ, thus giving him a better shot to win it.

This is an award that i wouldn't mind them doing away with! People gonna get butthurt no matter who wins. Gumps want AJ to wins because of the number of rings he's won, so they want to look at this as a going away gift. Nobody want JW to win because of the off the field issue (this isn't a boy scout award). And what about JFF? On a two loss skid and just didn't win the games that Aggie land thought they would.

Bad thing is some players are not going to be considered because of who they play/don't play and what conference they're in and so forth. But you look at stats, team record, etc and things could be different.

No doubt JW is on that list as well as JL and AW. Honestly i think they should add DC from FRESNO. Kid has his team at 11-1, 4866 yds, 48 TDs and only 7 INTs. Now FRESNO isn't the BAMA or FSU or AU or aTm but the fact is this kids can play lights out.
