I saw Casey Affleck on some talk show while flipping channels the other night. He was being an a-hole. Didn't make me want to see the movie.

I enjoyed it. If you've seen the deer hunter, then you'll have an idea of what you're in for. Solid performances all around. Bale is fantastic as always. My only complaint is the use of the pearl jam song.

I read somewhere that the screenplay was inspired by that Pearl Jam song. The writer said he was listening to it on loop or something while writing the whole thing

The SO and I went last night. I liked it, it did feel like the deer hunter. Slow build. The trailer made it look a bit like Taken and it's not that. Bale and Woody are both really good.

I went yesterday and I enjoyed it. It's a little slow getting go but it's solid. Harrelson is a sorry MFer in the movie.

Yeah, just not a pearl jam fan. So many others would have been better. But hey, just a minor complaint, overall definitely worth watching.

We were disappointed. Very "by the book" thriller. Used bits from other movies.

This is what I thought going into it and was not disappointed in the fact that it is nothing like Taken. A little slow at times, but the acting was superb.

It was good but it was very dark and about as depressing as any movie could be, it would make the worst date movie ever!
The good news is there is already a perfect HD copy on most torrent sites that came from an Oscar Screener DVD, I downloaded mine from pirate bay, so you can watch it for free at home!
