Only live games. Not a fan of their other content

Yeah I watch Fox Sports Live every night over SportsCenter.

Just can't touch Jay and Dan.

I watch Fox Sports Live in the mornings when I work from home. I like it a lot more than SportsCenter.

I watch PTI in the afternoon and that's basically the extent of my sports programming outside of actual games.

Their graphics take up too much of the screen. I don't like it.

Everybody bitches about ESPN and then they act like Stockholm syndrome when there is alternate programming on.

If you watch alternate programming and increase their ratings, it will create more competition.

I watch PTI about once every 2 weeks if I think something interesting will come up, and watch FS1 Live about twice a week, plus I watch their MMA coverage. Otherwise I feel like i'm more aware of the news than what they report through the msg boards so I don't waste my time. I enjoy it though as another source to play live sports, they had some decent Pac12 games on it this year in addition to fights.

Turned to Fox Sports Live and Darnell Dockett's mortal enemy Chris Rix was on. Terrible.

The extra live football/basketball is good. Way too much UFC/Nascar though.

Yes pretty much everyday. When I'm home for 4ish it's crowd goes wild. Then at 5 it's football daily.

I got into the UFC there in the late 90's. Used to go and rent some older tapes from Movie Gallery and watch some of the first UFC's that they ever did.

actually went to UFC 17 at the Mobile Civic Center. Watched Mark Coleman get kicked in the head and KO'd. Bad arse.

but now... the sport is just another channel changer for me. I guess it was just interesting for me during the late 90's b/c I was still in high school. Most of the guys at our school loved that shite too. Seemed like it was the new thing to do back then but it died off pretty quick for most if I remember right.

but I mean they had other UFC's around this area and some people would go to them. Like for example, I'm pretty sure they had one in Biloxi not too long after they had it in Mobile.

When it first started I thought it was gonna suck but then I watched and I liked it MUCH better than Sportscenter. After about a week though I forgot about it and now whenever I turn on the TV I go right to ESPN, I would bet a lot of people do the same. I need to start remembering it is around because I really did like it when they launched even though I thought it would suck.

I am pretty sure this is the first UFC event Dana White ever attended, it was # 16 or 17.

not ringing a bell for me.

I remember Chuck Liddell, Frank Shamrock, and David "Tank" Abbott.

I think the guy who KO'd Coleman was Pete Williams. I know for sure it was someone form the Lion's Den. But it wasn't one of the Shamrocks.

You wouldn't have known, he was just a fan at that point but it was that event that got him interested in the sport. I saw an interview where he talked all about it. If he hadn't attended the UFC probably would have folded and MMA would be NOTHING like it is today!

UFC 17 in Mobile had:

Frank Shamrock beat Jeremy Horn
Pete Williams beat Mark Coleman
Tank Abbott beat Hugo Duarte
