It's a sad situation.

JFF will be their savior.

Yeah. Let's just give away our best wide receiver because he's earned it .... I'm sure that's what they are thinking

For all he has given them through his career, they owe it to him to get a chance with a contender.

He's been paid handsomely, even with a contract renegotiation after he signed a stupid contract.

They don't owe him shite.

Houston should be good next year.

They were injured to all hell this season. They'll come back just fine.

And even though hes still playing at a very high level, hes still 32.

If he wanted to leave, he would of left years ago.

Why would he want to leave, go to a team he hopes can be a contender, learn a new playbook, etc at 32 years old?

And just because you think a team is a contender, doesnt mean they are. Example... Texans this year, and Falcons.

And FWIW, the Texans still have a talented team. Need a QB and be healthy.

but you act like it's easy to just replace the QB..

going to an established QB would be ideal and not such a risk.. and he didn't seem too happy in houston a couple of weeks ago.. so who knows.. but i do agree that texans could easily bounce back next season. he does not need to go any where..

this is football, a lot of greats stay on one team and never win or even come close to a super bowl.

We're seeing it with AD and AJ in the 2000s-current, and we saw it in the 90s with sanders. 80s with marino, etc. All of this while shittier players win. true definition of a team sport

Why would they let their best offensive player go? The only thing they owe him is his salary
