I want it to be cooking related, I need some suggestions.
What's are some of the most cost effective items in your kitchen worth $50 or less?
TIA.
P.S. It doesn't have to be something great, I'm looking at this as a novelty gift from my Mom so I'm keeping an open mind

I got a nice roasting pan last year for the same present ironicly.
I might ask for a nice immersion blender.
Or the Maverick Thermometer. (This is what I was leaning towards but I live in a condo and can't grill and already have a digital thermometer but not wireless.
Would there be a large advantage to a Maverick over a wired thermometer?

I was going to suggest this. It's one of the handiest little appliances I own.
