Eagles: Maybe. The offense could give them fits

Cowboys: Doubtful. Bad playoff team. Defense not very good

Panthers: Maybe. They played them well week 1. They won on the West Coast already this year

49ers: Doubtful. They sucked in Seattle the last 2 years

Lions: Depends on which team shows up. A hot Stafford and healthy Reggie Bush could be competitive

Bears: Doubtful. Their DBs match up well with their big receivers

Cardinals: Doubt it

Packers: Doubt it. Defense is atrocious. O-Line not very good either

Panthers and 49ers and that's about it.

Has to be a team with a defense that can match the same intensity as Seattle.

Aaron Rodgers had them beat last year until they were screwed in that last play.

It's hard to beat a team 3 times in one season, but I don't see the 49ers losing in Candlestick this week. They would be the favorite. It's the playoffs so throw out all the records.

Kaepernick has not beaten them and Carroll has made him look BAD.

Alex Smith was the QB the last time the 49ers won.

If they win, the defense will have to win it for them.

49ers are our only hope. The last two division winners (North and East) both suck and will probably lose to the wildcards. Saints will need the Niners (or Panthers) to knock off Seattle at home just to get to the Super Bowl.
And then get trucked by the Broncos in a game that will make last night look close.

I'd say San Francisco.

I dont know about that, a 7-9 Seattle team did it. I expect one of the home teams to win. Probably Detroit over Carolina.

San Fran. They have a stout D and hit hard.

If all stays like it should, it'll be

#1 - Seattle - bye
#2 Saints - bye

#3 Detroit vs #6 San Francisco
#4 Dallas vs #5 Carolina

Could easily see both wild cards winning.

#1 Seattle vs #5 Carolina
#2 Saints vs #6 San Francisco

Then we pray it's #2 New Orleans vs #5 Carolina

If that's the seeding, I'm pulling for a Dallas win and 9er win. I'd rather play Dallas at home again than Carolina for a third time.

Well, if we're talking about right this minute who would be the best team to knock off the Seahawks, it would have to be the Panthers. They are the hottest team in the league right now, winners of eight straight. I'm worried for the Saints in that will they be able to shake off this loss in time for the showdown with the Panthers on Sunday? They are tied in the division right now, if they lose, Carolina is in the driver's seat. They just need to rebound from this, and thankfully the next game is a home game.

I think we could adjust and do it...but I don't really want to test that theory

I don't see it. Let's face it: If it had been the Saints butt whipping the Seahawks like that at home and a Hawks fan asked what team could knock off the Saints in the playoffs I'm pretty sure most everyone hear would laugh at the idea.
