Hunting a poor animal that walks around innocently in people's yards?
This is in CenLA.

He'll yeah! If my Aunt would allow shooting in the yard everybody would be having more gumbo.

Family weekend. But there are deer here too. Protected deer. Good thing my freezer is full or I would be tempted.....

I prefer to whack them in the neck with fishing poles while they chase me away from my fishing holes

Never thought of doing that. I usually just took a running start and kicked em through the uprights.

Yep, It's off 28. They come to my aunt's lake every day near Pineville/libuse, but they go to several other nearby lakes too.
Beautifull place around central Louisiana.
We bought more Guillory's boudin this morning, but it disappeared quick with these hungry relatives..

Ya those Christmas lights are amazing and that is the only boudin I eat. Been eating their boudin for as long as I can remember

There's been an average of 50 in a pond in Slidell.

When I walk up to the pond a group of 20 or so swim to me looking for food.

In Va. they have been staying year round since the early 90's.

As far as hunting, I get mine when I hunt. More sporting.

No cleats can help.

I run in city park and have to dodge the goose shite around the lake. Sometimes it reminds me of pesto.....

At my house the Pelicans are the main bird pest, but I think they're protected.

There is a rogue gang (they're a gang, not a gaggle) of geese that terrorize the area around the new Women's Hospital in BR. Wife had a baby a couple months ago, and I had my first run-in with them on the patio behind the food court. They do a lot of shitting on the patio in the early morning hours, then thug around local businesses.

They were blocking cars in the CVS parking lot the second day we were there. And they staged a sit-in on the road out of the hospital on the third day.

I had 9 does in my backyard yesterday morning. My wife said we cant shoot em like that.
So instead I have to walk off the back porch into the woods and shoot them there.Gotta love the logic of that. It is cool seing them in the yard though.

Do you really have that short of a memory? Haven't they only been open 4-5 years?

We have a decent sized group of those and about 6 snows in the neighborhood pond. There is also a large group of resident wood ducks.

I should see some new birds this week with the front though.
