I always find myself seeking out a good MMORPG to play during cold days like today. So what are the top upcoming MMORPGs that you're looking forward to?

So far I'm only thinking about playing Elder Scrolls Online.

yeah, I also equate them with weight gain, so winter months and holidays are MMO times for sure.

I also want to see how elder scrolls works out

I think it's because we also have more time off from work/school as well so we have more gaming time.

Plus, most games have seasonal gifts, quests, rewards. That's one of the things I miss about WoW.

Me too. Of course I get the damned Beta invite for the weekend I have tickets to A&M. Had to re-sign up and hope I get another weekend that's open.

had a couple of friends that played in the beta weekend last weekend. from what I understand, you're not missing much right now. One of them was extremely disappointed with what he played, even knowing how early in Beta it is still wasn't enough to settle his worries.

i think the problem is all mmos from now to eternity will be based on WoW. problem is, WoW even isn't WoW anymore.

Now that I think about it, I'm usually into a Zelda almost every Winter. It's just a good time to be in an adventure type game for some reason.

Not an MMO, but I get what you mean.

fricking this. I wish they would bring back the old wow for us moldy oldies and keep the new shite for the kiddies that like their panda bullshite. It hasn't been the same for me for a long time. I finally said goodbye to it for good a few months ago. Just didn't hold appeal for me anymore.

That is my opinion of the problem. Just a bunch of wow clones.

I still enjoyed going to the level 60 dungeons and wrecking house with my level 80 death Knight. It was fun taking out the frustrations from being level 60 and getting killed.

What's the level cap now?

I second that.

Every winter has always brought me back to MMOs at a scary intensity.

I'm currently carrying an insane MMO itch that needs to be scratched, but holding off until finals are over. Probably going to get FFXIV finally

I'm hesitant to devote any time yet because I'm waiting on the right one. Aeon wad the last one I played and it wasn't too bad. I'm still waiting on that ridiculously open world exploration/pvp game to come out, much like Star Wars Galaxies was when it first began.

I tried to play the emulator a few months ago and the graphics are now horrible. I just can't get past how dated they look now.
