About a year ago someone went into my accidentally unlocked pickup and stole a few things. Luckily I was able to recover most of the items when the perp dropped them in another yard. Right around that same time I noticed my Benchmade was missing and assumed it was stolen also since I normally kept it in my truck when I wasn't carrying it. This was quite the downer because said knife has been discontinued for a few years now.

Well, this past Saturday I was digging around in my bag in the duck boat and what do you think I found in a forgotten inner pocket of said bag? A damn good surprise on an early Saturday morning.

Picture of a similar knife:

Finding a missing knife or other gear you though was gone is a great feeling.

I let one of my employees use mine once and he lost it 6-8 yrs ago. Back in the summer I found it cleaning out a fuel tank on a tractor. Go figure.

Buy a lottery ticket because the odds for finding a missing pocket knife and winning the power ball have got to be the same. At least for me.

I found a Benchmade Mini-Grip that I had given my wife to use 2 days ago... It was in the couch.

That is a good feeling.

Last year I could not find my skinning knife before deer season. Bought a new skinning knife. One cold/rainy day I was pumping gas, glanced between the cab and bed and saw something camo resting on the gas tank. It was my knife in the case, so now I have two knives with the gut-hook.

One day last year, my dad dropped by, I took him out in the boat and we caught 50 trout in one spot. As I was filleting our catch, I dropped my best filet knife from the fish cleaning station into the water. Finished up with another knife.
As we pulled up crab traps to stuff them with trout heads, the one by the filet station had my knife in it.
My dad told me to go buy a lottery ticket because that must have been my lucky day.
I didn't: still not rich.

I just found a Winchester pocket knife under my couch cushions yesterday, it isn't mine though? Maybe my wife's boyfriend dropped his?

I lost a Winchester knife in the couch of a girl I met on line. Wish I could get my hands back on it.

Almost as good as finding a lost wallet

A couple of years ago we were on the way home from a friends house and stopped at a roadside stand for tomatoes. My wife took my money clip, which had $100, my driver's license, debit card, credit card, Sam's card and a couple of other items all held with a sterling silver large paper clip. Later that day it could not be found and it was assumed that she dropped it or left it on the side of the truck and it rolled of on the way home. I gave her shite for a long time.

Pulled out a swim suit this summer and the money clip was in the pocket...

Lost my grandfather's Uncle Henry pocket knife. They got bought out by another company and aren't worth a shite, anymore. I still miss that man and his knife.
