Assuming you want to be in Quarter? Iris, they are open for lunch on Fridays.

Prefer CBD/Quarter but not necessary.

August and Emeril's are out as boss is not a fan.

He's leaning towards Commander's and Palace cafe b/c he goes to them a lot.

I considered Tableau but it hasn't gotten good reviews.

Pelican Club and GW Fins are not open for lunch.

Unless something changed, this isn't true.

I wouldn't suggest it but just saying.

Went to Tableau on Thursday. It was good, but not great.

Yeah but all those places open for Fridays in December for office/holiday lunches. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Here is your problem, everyone always wants atmosphere/location for lunches like this. Which takes out a lot of restaurants that actually serve awesome food and replaces them with the 5-8 tourist traps in the Quarter. But good luck and god bless and RIP The Bistro at Maison de Ville.

I was going to suggest GW Fins. I could've sworn they were open for lunch.

Muriel's is good because of the validated, free parking.

I did a group dinner at Bourbon House last month and it was fantastic.

I also had lunch at Criollo recently and loved it.

How many people?

That's why we went on a Tuesday last year.

Which tourist traps you referring to?

So you don't like:

Pelican Club
Mr. B's
GW Fins
August

?????

Got any other suggestions besides Iris? Not sure Iris's menu will have enough choices for him.

Looking for something that serves more of a dinner menu at lunch.

One of those things is not like the other.

Bayona would be another good one in the quarter.

You still didn't answer my question.

And I looked at Bayona. He wants a more extensive menu.

August is not a tourist trap.

Bayona has probably the most extensive menu in town, covering a vast swath of cuisines.

The lesson as always is lawyers ruin everything.
