Malena had 3 freakin' totes? He was gashing us last year until they quit giving him the ball in the second half. It looked like their whole plan was for Johnny to throw 20 yard outs the whole game, in that weather. Can't believe they weren't throwing slants to Evans. To Sumlin

Evans was shut down. He plays physical and got punched in the mouth by a freshman with the balls to play just as physical.

I did not really notice a game plan from aTm. They really did not have anything going on either side of the ball. Fun to watch for us!

ETA: d-backs played lights out. With no Manziel to Evans, they are no good.

A&M got it's arse kicked in every facet of the game. Plain and Simple.

Let's all just acknowledge that there is definitely one worse game plan but agree that we won't mention it so I don't feel the need to blow my brains out.

Everyone cool with this understanding?

Yes. See LSU at ole miss this year. We decided to chunk it around the yard when their D-line was missing half of their starters.

Take away Johnny Football and they'll be lucky to be 6-6. I just really wasn't impressed at all by him as a coach from what I saw Saturday.

They've had 2 come from behind wins that they should've lost.

I loved this so much about the game. I loved seeing their sideline whine every time we pushed Evans right back.

JFF doesn't have te arm or accuracy to throw in wind. Once they got behind it was hopeless for them.

With Evans JFF can throw the ball in a general area and e can win the battle going to get it. With the wind his inaccuracies were intensified. Having Evans rattled helped a lot also

The 2 games they've lost this year (prior to saturday) Evans had 280+ receiving yards even with the loss so to me shuttin down Evans wasnt the deciding factor..the problem was they didnt go away from it..they continued to force passes instead of attacking our real weakness which is stoppin the run

The game plan on TAMU's side of the ball is what it was. The game plan on LSU's was just better and better executed.

Is it so difficult to say " Has there been a better game plan than Miles' on Saturday?"

JFF scrambling for 10-15 yards is a large part of their rushing. We contained him well and playing from behind and having long sustained drives meant they needed to score quick when behind.

i didn't understand why they didn't roll him out, run some designed draws. You know? Maybe use your best player in the best way. Instead, it was like they were trying to prove he was Joe Montana.

They did, we stopped those plays.

When one team dominates TOP 2:1, and had at least a 2 possesion lead throughout, it makes it hard for the other team to get a ground game going.
