For the record, I agree with you.

TNF, in general, is terrible.

I agree. I hate Sundays without the Saints.

Drew Brees has to take the field 4 days after being nearly decapitated, and the team may have to play without Darren Sproles.

Because the NFL cares about player safety.

I like the Thursday games as long as the Saints aren't in them.

Yes, the Thursday night games are stupid in general, but this actually may work out well for the Saints.

They play a bad Falcons team that they should beat then get a mini bye heading into a cross-country road game with huge playoff implications.

This only matters of course if the Saints take care of business tonight, but this is a great setup in theory.

Also, for those of us who don't live in the NOLA area, any opportunity to see a nationally televised Saints game is a positive. Can watch at home tonight instead of going to a bar.

Thursday games should only be played directly after a teams bye week.

I'm hoping we use tonight to work the kinks out of our run game before our trip to Seattle. We're going to need it.

I am becoming opposed to them....I'd be on this game tonight since tix are plenty and cheap right now. Unfortunately, game will let out at 12:30, then i have a 45min to 1 hour drive home, and then i need to be at the office for 7am.

I'm on the fence about it. When the schedule was first released I hated it, especially being that it is 4 days off of the game with San Fran. But now that the Falcons are looking pathetic, and we have a week and half to prepare for Seattle, I'd say it works out for us. In general, the Thursday night games have been a terrible watch, but it does give me something to watch every Thursday.

It sure helps that the Falcons are having a rough time. This part of the season would be brutal if the Falcons were competing like last year.

I hope we win tonight and get out of there with no injuries. Rest up and get ready for a huge game in Seattle.

Goodell is already in the talks for 2 Thursday night games per week. Kind of like Week 1 of MNF.

I don't care for NFL on Thursday. Let college play on Thursday, but leave the NFL for Sunday. Goodell needs to get rid of the Thursday game not add one.

I hate Thursday NFL games.

The only way I would approve of a Thursday night game is after week 10, if the two teams are eliminiated from the playoffs, then a game can be flexed to Thursday night.

Agreed...maybe I'm old-school but NFL on Thursday has an odd Pre-season feel to it. Not a fan.
