Sounds like she was "encouraged" to stop pursuing charges. shite may get real...

quote:

A Tallahassee detective told an accuser's attorney that Tallahassee is a "big football town" and her client's life could "be made miserable" if she pursued a sexual assault case against Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, according to an exclusive statement released by the family to the Tampa Bay Times on Wednesday. The statement — released through the family's attorney — is the first public comments from the complainant and her family since allegations surfaced last week that Winston was involved in the investigation of a sexual assault reported in December.

He's not wrong. Making an accusation like that will have everyone looking into her personal history.

raping a girl and then TPD trying to encourage the victim not to press charges is not exactly what I'd call "bullshite"

but OK.

Witness Public Statement

I don't know why someone would go and be examined and have blood work and file a police report 2 hours after not being raped, and then waiting 11 months to make an issue of it.

If you honestly think Jameis raped her I can't help you. No need to be scared of FSU little gump

The family also said that Angulo refused to collect Winston's DNA or interview his roommate, a possible witness in the case, because doing so would alert Winston and allow the case to go public.

This is the part that I have the most problem with. Is Winston or his roommate going to take to Twitter and tweet "Man, just got served a search warrant by TPD"

Yeah, I don't think so either...

I'm sure she was violently raped and beaten........yeah right! Too many of these incidents involve women making bad choices and putting themselves into these situations. Reports were that she was drunk, and she probably took it like a champ and is now ashamed of herself. Sorry too many of these charges against famous personalities and athletes are not true.

Witness press release just mentioned that she was not drunk and the blood work shows she wasn't.

Did you read the statement from the family?

If half of that is true, there was a cover-up.

I know this sounds terrible and harsh, but when it comes to rape accusations against athletes my first thought is the accusation is bs.
