Uhh, are you surprised? I'm surprised this is even a news story, I thought it was obvious he was done.

his career could be in jeopardy.

you have to think a lot of teams won't be interested.

then again, a lot was made of Manti Te'o and his embarrassing situation.

that has been forgotten mostly.

That's because Teo shows up for work, unlike Martin.

Of course he "wants to play" and have a long successful career. Translation, it helps his upcoming suit against the league.

In the end they settle, he moves on, and the league issues new locker room rules. Ta Da...

He did the dolphins a favor, if they ever cut him, etc... it would be viewed as retaliation and there could be ANOTHER lawsuit (clearly he is planning on one)

The funny thing is, He doesn't realize that the NFL is the bridge he burned, not the dolphins

Unless he is really good, he'll never play again.

All this post-leaving the team B.S. is just to further his lawsuit against the Dolphins and the NFL. As far as being picked up by another team, I'm not so sure.

There are plenty of assholes, racist, drug addicts, and complete pieces of shite in NFL locker rooms. All are pretty much tolerated because on Sundays everybody is working for a common goal. What there aren't, are a lot of are players who are looked at as being "soft". NFL teams/players aren't very tolerant of guys who they don't feel are willing to fight their asses off on the field and play through pain. True or not, Martin will be looked at as being soft. If he thought the insults and bullying was bad inside the Dolphins locker room, imagine what he'll hear the next time he lines up against a 320 DT who's ready to run right through him. There are alot of things you can be and still play in the NFL, but a pussy isn't one of them.

Congratulations to ESPN for keeping this "story" in the news all the way to Monday.

By the way, you can watch the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, on ESPN!

This will leave a far bigger black mark than the Te'o situation.

I don't disagree but both stories are/were pretty fricking weird.

I think the Teo story was thought to have had a lot of hazing from players once he got a on a team. Certainly from opponents on the field also.

we've heard nothing so far.

I don't think Martin will play anytime soon but he could get another shot once the dust settles.

I see him going to the Colts next year. Would reunite with three ex-Stanford Cardinals, one being a coach
