Aren't we one loss away from where we thought we would be this year?

The defense suffered major losses from last year and everyone knew this wasn't a championship season. Everyone had at Georgia and at Alabama pencilled in as a loss. The only surprise has been Ole Miss; and some poor decisions by Mett had something to do with that.

9-3 is what I was projecting. 8-4 bad season, 10-2 great season.

I did not think the D would be this lacking. I knew there would be a drop off.

Honestly, the TCU game concerned me after seeing how their 2nd team QB ran all over the field. The OM game was a huge red flag (for this year, anyway).

I figured 3 or 4 losses this year.

The defense took a major blow losing key starters. This is not the fault of Miles or the coaching staff.

I knew that we'd struggle this year on defense, and I expected 3-4 losses this year.

The thing that kills me is that we're 6 points from being 9-1. I was thinking that we would make the Cotton Bowl preseason. I hope Auburn or Mizzou gets an at-large BCS bid.
