Think about 10 other programs like LSU.

Oregon
UCLA
USC
Michigan
Nebraska
Ohio St
Alabama
Texas
Florida State
Oklahoma
Aggies
LSU
Georgia
Clemson
Notre Dame
Tennessee
Miami
Florida

Not all the above are equally positioned but they all have support money and recruiting reach that making a run at the NC should be not a huge surprise.

And right now, there is only ONE program consistently the best.

I am not too fond of Miles at this time, but do want to see what the D looks like next year.

You are an Alabama fan. I am sure you would be quite happy with Miles staying.

Florida has to battle FSU and Miami for in state recruits. We hold that advantage over them as well.

Florida has 52 players ranked in espns top 300. There are enough players to fill 3 teams dumbass.

The city of Atlanta has twice the population of the entire state of LA. There are not enough prospects in LA to fill a national title contending team. What qb from LA would have led us to a title? None have been d1 quality over the last several years except for JJ and Prescott.

Dont even get me started on cali. Ugh would you rather spend 4 years in the dump that is baton rouge or spend 4 years in Los Angeles. You got to be kidding rt? if i got a scholarship to usc or ucla id be there in a heart beat.

Just looked it up. There are currently 75 players from LA in the NFL. Florida currently has 221. Per capita doesnt mean shite. So obviously the 3 florida teams have just as good of a chance landing a homegrown nfl player as lsu does.

This is the kind of thing that the pure narcissists among nega-Tigers throw out there, as if it is fans like them who make the program what it is.

Could I ask you to shut your mouth now? I don't want the fans on the fence about Miles to read your garbage.

No, what you fail to realize is that you are embarrassing yourself on a message board. I often wonder if people had to use their real names on here, would they be so quick to make total asses of themselves. LSU will be fine, the defense took a huge hit last year. It hurt us this year. I expect LSU to be better in all phases of the game next year. There will be some receivers that have to step up and new running backs asked to contribute early. Look for a better team next year.

I graduated from LSU.

Usually when somebody says that, it is because they are trying to cover up their own insecurities.

LSU will lose at least 2 games a year under Miles. Only one year have they not, and that was the obviously the year they lost to Bama in the BCS Title game.

Please don't attend any more games as long as miles is coach. We don't need your kind of blind negativity

It's unrealistic to be super dominant every year. Alabama is an anomaly. Just look at Florida and Georgia this year and Auburn last year. It's just not our year, and that happens.

Second paragraph where you said "LSU recruits itself" - the delusion continues. You kids may learn in the next few years what it is like when the recruiting Locusts invade the State every year from all over the country and leave mostly scraps behind. It is a big world out there, and there happen to be better places for a kid to plan a future than Louisiana. Add in a mean, stupid fan base and it is much harder than you think to keep recruits at home. It doesn't just happen.

and under the playoffs it wont matter, get in and it all changes. Its funny how people use the always lose 2+ games and they love the throw out 2011 as the only time. Yeah lets shite on a season where we lost in the bcs title game. Or we can shite on 2005 where we lost in the seccg. Im sorry but in 2005 there were 10 other teams that would have loved to be playing in that game and in 2011 there were 120 other teams that would have loved to be in the title game.

so any team that doesnt have saban as their coach is just settling for second best? Because saban is the best coach. You are delusional.
