Anyone annoyed by ESPN's complete assumption Oregon will jump FSU in BCS?

All this week I've heard guy after guy on ESPN and ESPN radio say how Oregon will jump Florida State if both teams win out. They pass it off as a fact.
Maybe you can figure out what the computers will do but you have no idea how much space the voters would put between the two which is 2/3 of the BCS.
Yeah I mad. I don't know how you can have any credibility when no one questions that statement. Everyone knows ESPN wants Oregon to play Alabama. After 2011 whatever they want will happen.

Is anyone else annoyed that people still watch ESPN?

Voters have them at #2 and they are still to play Stanford and UCLA...tough to see FSU jumping them in voters polls.

I listen to ESPN radio. It's analysts from ESPN so I assume they're saying the same things on TV, Scruff.

FSU is making a serious statement right now.

Not really.
It's been explained that voters will go with Oregon over FSU because of their history of producing.
Oregon has a harder schedule the rest of the way to run the score up on, in fact the remainder of their schedule beats out any 5 opponents on FSU's schedule

I've never heard anything pushed like this opinion one week into the BCS standings before. Ever
I think they're doing it partly because Oregon fans are huge pussies and ESPN caters to them.. so they want to ease some of their worries.

What's worse is when they eventually lose and then score 68 the following week, the usual suspects will play the "eye test card" and begin arguing that they would beat FSU and Alabama 7 out of 10 on a neutral field or some other bullshite like that.

ESPN hates Scruffy and LSU.

iirc correctly, oregon is behind bama, fsu and mizzou in the computers. if mizzou and bama win out they will play each other and thats an extra spot oregon jumps up. the bcs experts are usually pretty accurate when projecting where teams will finish.

It all becomes moot after Stanford handles them. Again.

If you mean the matchup itself, the entire college football world had Texas and USC picked the entire 2005 season. As far as this years discussion, Brad Edwards said last week that voters have basically seen Oregon do this for a longer period of time and will vote them.
I'm not tooting Brad Edwards because I have enough of a brain to think on my own, but he's right on this one. If it comes down to FSU and Oregon voters will pick Oregon and the schedule will back it up.
