Yall got any recommendations? Brands to stay away from? Mucks? Redhead? Danner?
I need them to be waterproof and warm and comfy...that's about it.

Depends on what you are going to be doing. Lace-ups offer more support for long walks or hilly terrain.
I either use Lace-ups or LaCrosse ankle grips(no idea the model #, that's what I've always called them) for knee boots. I do not like muck knee boots. I have ripped a pair walking through heavy briars and smilax vines

Lightest Mucks you can find, if hunting in LA. I wear Muck Wetlands. Any heavier and your feet really sweat.

Rocky's. Had a pair of these for 6 years and love them. Think the insulation has worn out cause my feet got cold for the first time last year. or im becoming a puss

Muck Wetlands
I have had the Muck Wetlands since 2009 and they have never failed. In most situations they are too thick and my feet tend to sweat, but when it gets cold they are money.

I have a pair of Muck boots and would recommend them. They're a little pricey but well worth it.

These are the ones I have been rocking for the past 3 years Lacrosse Grange
They fit very snug to my foot and I actually like them better than my insulated Burly boots as far as fit and ease of walking goes. I have worn them many times walking >5mi a day with no problems. IIRC, I paid like $65 for them. I remember buying a pair I guess around 2001 and got them for $45.
Eta: The Burly's will come off of my foot in thick mud if I am not paying attention. The Granges will not. It is something about the ankle fitment that works very well for me

I don't hunt much anymore so there's a bit of sticker shock associated with alot of these boots.

The Granges are $65 with free shipping everywhere. Try them on at a store, and if the price is higher than $65, order them online.
They are a warm weather boot no doubt. Not as warm as the AlphaBurly, but you can always wear thick socks
