Ive been saying it for a while. Good player, yes, but top 5 pick and best defensive tackle we have had like some posters on here swore about, no. He did more time on his back yesterday than anything. Been waiting for a break out but it doesnt seem to be happening. Dissapointment. Ego is playing well though. And its not all about stats. It's about making big plays in critical points.

He's not a bust, he's still got one year left. Let him finish man.

Lot of hype, not a ton of production. Reminds me of Tyson Jackson.

If I reminded somebody of Tyson Jackson, I'd feel pretty good since he was a first round pick.

LA recruits as a whole = bust

Yes, a few players are very good, but the majority of them have been extremely disappointing.

Barrow
Jones
Eugene
Blue
Wright
Welter
Williams
Johnson
Lewis
Martin
Turner
Thomas
Hawkins

Just to name a few

Wasn't Jackson a 3* recruit?

He isn't a total bust, but he is just an average football player. He has bad feet and cannot change direction; he is also generously listed as six three.

He has a lot of ability but no feel for the game. Great DTs have an instinct they develop that tells them what's coming next by the actions of the oline. If no one blocked Benny Logan he'd get suspicious and put his head on a swivel - Freak would charge and overrun the play

It seems like him and Ego are playing a lot of snaps this season. The guy is probably worn down.

Jackson has done nothing in the NFL. But yes, a first round pick.

He is leaving this year. No way he stays another year seeing that it will only hurt his stock. But I really wish I knew where all this prestigious honor came from for freak. is it because of high school. Or nick name. Or what.

He basically developed really young and was a full grown man at 15. Set the national high school career sack record. Had offers from all over. Big time recruit, but I wonder if our defensive line coaching isn't lacking a bit in the development department. I mean let's consider the absolute freaks Haley has had to work with, these guys are talented but we aren't seeing the results in sacks/TFL. Honestly we really haven't the last few years, at least at the level it should be at

I don't think he's a bust. He was insanely hyped and his production hasn't been there. His career isn't over so I'd be inclined to say hold off on the whole bust thing.

Craig Loston was a 5* in 2009 and may very well be one of the worst players we've fielded during that span. He's an absolute liability in coverage and still can't tackle as a senior, plus he's injured every year.
