Start 1QB, 2WR, 2RB + flex in a PPR. Declining owner's roster:
QB - Brees/Vick/Foles
RB - AP, CJ2K
WR - Steve Smith, Mike Williams, Miles Austin, Harry Douglas

Desean has as many pts as AP, and we all know what Rice can do if he turns it around. Who would turn down this offer?

Really depends on how you value Rice going forward, if you think he lives up to his draft place you take the deal

More than a RB1 and WR1 (who's also scored as much as AP)? O...K...

Also AP will be playing much harder and with a vengeance for recent events.

Not sure if serious.

Even if Rice doesn't quite return to form it makes sense to me...hell, he's bad right now, and the owner would still be getting 10+ pts/week more with this combo.

I have AP and am strongly considering entertaining tade options.

This deal would seem like a good one at draft time. But now, there's some uncertainty with Rice as to if he will perform to expectations.

There's always uncertainty.
Rice doesn't even have to live up to expectations to make this deal a win.

I didn't see that desean has scored the same as AP. It may have been a poor choice of words but do you not agree he will be playing the rest of the season for his son?

You mean a kid he didn't know until a week ago and had never met before? It is a tragedy but let's not act like AP had a relationship with the child

Damn I need to catch up on my facts. Sorry about that. Last I heard of the story was Friday after work and heard it was his son. Sorry guys. Take the trade....

This isn't the right way of looking at it. It's Rice + Desean's average Vs AP + player Desean is replacing's average.

Agreed, but look at the crap he has at WR. He needs a consistent stud at WR...enter Desean.

As soon as Vick returns, Jackson will become more inconsistent. Ap dominates Jackson and rice by years end. Rice is really struggling.

Desean is the highest scoring WR in our league, with only 2 games below 26 pts this year (9 and 5).
AP has a 9 pt game and 11 pt game and 20+ for the rest.

Where's the consistency difference?

Wanna bet? Desean alone has 30 more pts than AP right now, has done well with both QBs, and he has little competition in Chip Kelly's offense. Inconsistent my arse....find another WR who's been markedly more consistent this year. I'll wait.

The guy declined your trade. Move on.

You clearly value AP over DeSean and Rice or you wouldn't offer the trade. No reason to bitch when someone else values him higher too.

Bitching?
I'm disproving arguments with facts, so call it what you want. I'm set where I am and don't need to make moves unlike the other owner...just figured this would be a pretty easy win/win trade that I countered with.

I have AP. I wouldnt accept that trade either.

And your argument that those 2 would combine for 10 more points that AP isnt a good 1. 2 players combine to only get a couple more points than 1 player by himself. Ill keep the 1 player.

Main reason I wont do this is because of Rice. Offer him a little better RB an maybe he would do it. I might trade AP for DeSean and Frank Gore.

Guy didnt like your trade. Stop whinning about it. And no this wasnt a crazy offer decline. A crazy offer decline would be like AP for Dez and Jamaal. That would be crazy. This isnt. And it is AP. Yea he isnt going to run for 2500 yards, but by the end of the season he will be ahead of Rice and DeSean in points.
