Speaks volumes. I think our coaches are pretty comfortable in landing our top targets for 2014. when lsu plays texas A&M hootie will be in attendance as a LSU commit

obviously not the commit part, but wondering if his A&M game attendance is factual...I'm guessing no.

When people talk about the risks LSU has taken (e.g., not taking RBs in previous class), I would like to think that if we can figure this out, so can Miles. And he has a heck of a lot more on line than we do as fans. I have full confidence in Miles. His record shows that he knows what he's doing. Tigers are keeping the ones that matter. After Les' last "rant," he's quickly catching up to Dale Brown as my all-time favorite LSU coach. Trust the man.

I've been thinking the same for weeks. LSU is very confident and probably have numerous silents due to the fact that they haven't offered others as back ups. Besides, as far as the receivers are concerned, we will lose Landry and Beckham and two other seniors. These receiver recruits would be crazy not to come here especially with Cameron at the helm.

I think this is probably correct but if we miss out on a recruit (ex. garrett) what do we do then. is there a general backup plan that if we miss one guy we know who is the next guy we can actuaaly get a commitment from (not gage).

if we miss out on garrett, I'm sure the staff could bring in kenny young

I think Garrett and Young should BOTH be in this class. If Welter is our best MLB right now, then we need options

right, we didn't have a backup plan for robinson and now looks like we won't get another ol.

this brings me to my only concern about this class. even if we land all the big fish we are after we will end up with only 2 ol and only 4 dl (one with acl injury). six lineman in a class of 25 players is just way too low for me.

The staff is looking at a number of candidates for a third OL in this class. Just because we're hearing little at this point doesn't mean the staff isn't putting in work to land another OL.

After hearing several commits and recruits speak, I have to believe there are a few silents or at least the staff has been assured on a few of them.

I feel the staff knows malachi is coming, he may have even communicated this to the staff. Given the way he was this past weekend with adoree and some of his comments about the future of lsu were very positive

Also the way BHarris spoke of malachi, LF, speeds GW etc leads me to believe the majority of the uncommitted group knows they will be at lsu together and just enjoying the rest of the process

I don't know whose spot you would use for a lineman but I would take AT LEAST one more in this class. the reason we are short exp. dl now is we had a year in which hunter was the only dl in the class. we DEFINITELY need more dl in this class.

Any possibility of a JUCO DT? Any Nick Fairley/Jesse Williams types out there?
