Guys, I see that many of us are going a little stir crazy that we haven't gotten hardly and commits compared to everyone else lately. At the same time, many of us are looking at all of this like I am. When it is all said and done, we are going to have an explosion of euphoric walls of text on this board on the AA game days.

The fact that programs like Bama have been getting commits lately tells me plenty enough about where the bulk of La's awesome 2014 class are going to be playing their college days.

LSU is the only univ that stands in the way of little nicky and more crystal balls. Now that the Chief has gotten the defense playing like they belong in Purp and Gold, the recruits that are on the fence (only a couple) should be levitating towards our side especially if we go to gumpsville and win like I know we can.

So enjoy the possibilities for now my Tiger brethren. We will only get a couple of commits until the big AA games but when those games are played, LSU will be the talk of the nation!

On top of all of this, we look to be getting two guys out of the blue who are tops at their positions from way out of state. Garrett will dominate and the Chief will have his next beast of a LB for his resume to go after Minter. DBU will be stupid deep and we will once again see the Chief's 3-1 dime where blitzes come from angles that would make my geometry teacher shite bricks with guys like Adoree playing any given position from lock down corner to dime blitzer.

So for now, lets enjoy watching the best staff in the country develop these future NFL players into NCAA Champions. This year's fireworks have just begun!

Agree with previous post. LM has to know about many of theses recruits. They're just enjoying the process and want to do it at the AA game, which we will own. We will all be happy on nsd. If it comes down to it, the kicker will be asked to gray shirt , as well as the long snapper, if it means getting adoree or that dt committed to Miami. We will be fine, so just relax my Lsu compadres and enjoy the process.

I don't think we take a spot away for another OL. I think another OL is programmed into the remaining spots. The way I see it, these are absolutes for the final 10:

1. LF
2. Speedy
3. Dupre
4. Another OL
5. Willis
6. McDowell
7. Garrett
8. Hootie
9. Brown
10. Jackson, if we can get him

There's also Ramirez, Gage and Young, if we can manage any one, some or all three. I'm wondering if we're able to back count anyone or grayshirt anyone to create wiggle room for any of those guys, if we land the 10 above. But IMO, we need a third OL in the class, not so much for next season, but for seasons beyond that. OL are hard to project and more often than not, take time to develop. Got to have more than just two in the class or it could show up two-three seasons down the road, as I think the year we took only one DL (I think 2012) is kind of reflected this year as we're trying to get young guys up to speed to create depth.

Something along the lines of 'this class is gonna be special with all the players coming here. we're gonna win championships'

Kinda vague and usual recruit speak, but he also may have privy info. Never know

I agree that the kicker needs to be "re-evaluated". Too many guys left on the board that would be so much more benficial to the team...

Delahoussaye is only a freshman, and I think I read where Gamble doesn't even handle his teams field goals...WTF

Well I guess the question is whether that's worth a scholarship this year...???

How many soccer players at LSU can kick the ball into the end zone every time? I bet there's several..

we need to make room for kenny young at all cost. the guy has a nose for the ball and he plays without fear. No body gone to run over him not even LF. He wraps the runner up a stops him cold. no yards after contact.

Room may come from attrition..looking at the number of DBs who have not panned out for us..I won't call out anyone specifically, Chief has already done so...I stongly suspect there will be room made for Young if he wants to come...

LSU will have to lose a few to attrition just to be able to sign 25 that we are hoping for. Kenny Young or no Kenny Young.

The first quote from Pison was not vague, it was specific. I too am interested in what BH said.

While I agree that LSU should rethink bringing Gamble in with this class, a more accurate description of his high school duties is:
- Kick Offs
- Long FGs

It's just that his high school hasn't encountered a long FG situation this season. Note that in the national kicker's camp this past Summer, accuracy on his FG kicks was not an issue.

So don't equate "lack of opportunity" to mean "lack of ability".

I'm not meaning to question his ability. But if he isn't even relied on to kick "normal" FG's at his high school, I question the need for him in this particular class. Obviously that high school has someone they feel is "more accurate", so I cant help but wonder why we would burn an extremely valuable scholly this year on a "strong leg".....
But they may intend to greyshirt him possibly, just wondering and generating discussion, not intending to insult the kid.
