Should I pick up this Beretta .25 950BS? 18 years old, still new in box...I think they were still made overseas then. $225?

Do you want another gun for range use only. Then yes. Good price

But 25 is a pretty garbage round

Isn't a Ruger LCP about $300 bucks. That would be a better buy than a .25

this. hard to hit anything & won't put down anybody if it does.

If you want something hard to aim at least get a snubby so if by a miracle you do hit it has a chance of working.

Neat little gun doesn't matter where they were made, 18 years ago definitely in Maryland. Way way better than any Ruger made. Maybe a hand load would be better than factory hardball. I knew a motor cop that had one behind his buckle and it saved his life once, shot placement is everything. I d grab it.

A gun should never be used purely for intimidation. She should learn to how to use one in the event that she actually had to defend herself.

That being said, this would be a terrible gun for her to learn on. Also, .25 ammo is REALLY expensive because of simple supply and demand (supply is REALLY low).

Also, let HER choose the gun. You shouldn't make that decision for her.

Watch this video if you're serious about getting her a good gun.
