Jason Boland & The Stagglers

I know, a repetitive subject on this board.
But I got to see them for the first time last night live at a very small venue here in DC and I am came away impressed
They were so much better live than their albums. Put on a solid 90+ minute show.
Also, Jason Eady opened up for them and really knew nothing about him, but really liked the show. His voice so reminded me of Eric Church.
The best last night (sure he does it every show) but was when Boland talked about his new album. He said we listened to the current FM radio and wanted to do the complete opposite.
Also, who knew we had so many people from OK here in DC.

I wish they'd come to BR together. They played here a couple months ago a couple days apart and I couldn't make either.
Boland always puts on a stellar show, but his studio albums are fuvking badass as well.

I was at Eady's BR show. It was badass.
And I think Boland has the best voice in the biz.
