Headed there for a couple of days for business. What's good for dinner out there?

Do yourself a favor and make it over to LaCombe to Sal and Judy's one of the evenings. It's 10 or 15 minutes away, depending on where you're staying in the Dell.

Most of Slidell's dining is casual. Some recommendations:
Southside
Palmetto's
Peck's Seafood
Zea's
Young's (on Robert Rd - restaurant has no signs)
Jocko's (Old Spanish Trail near I-10 has good po-boys)

yes to all of these.

also KY's in old town. best nachos in the town.
Que Rico is 100% authentic cuban. Jonh Besh eats there and gets the cuban sandwich. Make sure you get a con leche, the BEST coffee I have ever had.

also if you want fine dining try Christophers on second street.

Robert rd. Little place under the water tower called La Pines. Price is right and food is good.
Just down the road from there across from Youngs is T Leblancs. Another priced right and good food.

I generally never miss home but this thread is really making me miss the Dell. Hitting up KY's after games on was always the tits. This is old school but Thonn's seafood had the best roast beef poboy I have ever had. Po-Boys from the Check In Check Out on OST were awesome. Southside on a Friday or Saturday night. Boiling Point was always a solid. And I know this is a bit off topic, but I have yet to find a place in BR or Houston that can beat Not Just Donuts.
