Any of y'all in section 1 last night?

Did any of you sit in the LSU section opposite of the band last night? Near the end of the first quarter, we had a MSU fan come to our section, spit in a guys face, and punch the guy which then led to a few more punches being thrown. Then security comes and kicks out only LSU fans and tells the MSU fans to go back to their seats. Security stood in between us for a good while and only looked LSU's way. They pretty much told us to not even look at the MSU fans. Meanwhile the guy who started the fight and a few of his cohorts stood behind security and yelled things like "suck my balls corndogs!" Security absolutely would not kick any MSU fans out no matter what they did. My buddy was ringing a cowbell when LSU did something well and they kicked me and him out. We were probably the 5th or 6th LSU fans kicked out. For those of you who may have witnessed this, how did the rest of the game go? Did things eventually die down?

Was involved in the fight as well, 2 of my podnuhs got kicked out and one arrested. Absolute shite that an Msu fan can punch an LSU fan in the face and the LSU fan gets arrested

We kept trying to tell them, it was obvious who came to who and initiated the fight because it all happened well into LSU territory. They were convinced LSU fans were the devil though, and MSU fans could do no wrong

Yeah. I got arrested. While waiting on transport to county another girl "assaulted" a cop and they took her and let me go witha ticket.

It all turned out well. The LSU team managed to kick most of the State fans out of the stadium before the game was over.

The whole thing was crap. It calmed down and the cops left before half. As soon as they left some MSU fan came over and tried to start something again.

I wasn't at this game but a similar situation happened to me in the Oxford square back in 2003 the night before the Eli Fell Down game. My dad witnessed the whole thing and told the cop that it was bullshite to arrest me for getting punched by the Ole Miss kid he had just let go. Dad got arrested too. Everything was dropped once we got back home. Sucked at the time but we laugh about it now and think about the time my dad and I went to jail together. At one point at about 5am after about 2 hours of silence he looks at me and says "You know it would be a lot easier for me to get you out right now if i wasnt in here too"

I saw there was a woman in the pile and I pulled her out, but as soon as I did she tried to go right back in. She was ready to start swinging, and she may have even done so prior to that. She joined her husband in running their mouths standing behind security for the rest of the time I was there
