Only allowing 13 against QBs, although Shaun did get 20 against em.

Figure you have to, he's Andrew Luck

Curious to see what the owner I'm facing does, he has Luck.

I have Luck and I'm rolling with him every week. The guy is good and he has a solid supporting cast around him. Rushing is an added plus as well. Luck FTW!

Luck has been a much better IRL QB than a fantasy QB.

Yea, so he's one of the worst starting QBs in almost any league.

He's better than 8 other QBs IRL?

Yeah, in 8 team leagues, he's the worst.

Owners that build their teams around QBs are usually the losers. Peyton may be the anomaly this season, but in my main PPR league, Peyton was a 2 keeper and the owner is 2-2 after 4 weeks.

I own Luck in 1 league (of 9) and got him probably in the 8th round. Sounds legit to me.

9 leagues, 26-10 record so far. Worst record in any league 2-2 (x3). Every other team is 4-0 or 3-1.

In a 10 team league, 80% of the time your QB is worse than the other guys. If you can overcome that, good for you. I'd rather have a QB that can carry a team, especially in a 6pt TD league.

I haven't played Yahoo in any draft league. I mostly played Roto football (if you have any experience) with CDM since late 90s. Unfortunately living in LA I can't play for money any more. I would enjoy showing you my earnings though.

I enjoy draft leagues as well and am relegated to them now. I'm fine picking up Matt Ryan in the 6th round every draft. Or Luck in the 8th.

I agree that the 'draft Brees in the first round' guy usually doesn't end up with a good team but that's not always the case. I think coming up with a strategy of I'm not picking a QB until Rd X or I'm going WR-WR-WR this year will also not work out.

I pick on value - same as a Roto salary cap league. The categories are different - ROTO is much harder (PassY, PassAvg, RushY, RushAvg, RecY, RecAvg, K/scoring, T/scoring).

I enjoy PPR draft leagues > STD scoring draft leagues as well.

That said, I'm old school and draft RBs whenever possible. In my main PPR league (money league, as they are all), Martin/Foster (keepers), CJ2K (ugh) and Reggie were my 1st 4 picks.
