Yeah I lucked up. Unless you develop the entire Park yourself, a lot of time someone else owns the lot, so you owe lot rent. My trailer is down a regular street in WBR so I was able to get the lot and the trailer. An uncle of mine owns a number of trailers in a trailer park. Fixes up old ones and charges like $750/mo. $$$$$

How much are you clearing after depreciation?

Then I heard what cardiologist in our area makes. North of 40k per month base salary

Are you in BR? My cousin is a cardiologist in BR and if he's pulling that, I need to hit him up for a loan.

How do you like Cox? I might consider it if I get close to a full ride. It would be awesome to not have to move again.

I highly recommend it, especially if you get a full ride. I am concentrating in finance, and that department and it's professors are top notch. A negative side of the program is the first year, and some of its "remedial" courses (I hate spending $4k on a goofy marketing class).

The alumni/corporate relationships and networking abilities the school offers is Cox's strong suit. Additionally, they got some great looking undergrad tail.

Jesus at the pay some of you make..

Im 28 and will pull around 95K with my base job (PM/Sales - Oil & Gas) & the Texas Air National Guard.

While I would like love to clear 100K, currently my wife doesn't have to work and life in Texas does not cost all that much.

I make my own schedule and have loads of free time and do not hate waking up going to work. I actually like it.

Those guys are shady as shite. At the end of the day, you're selling me a warranty I probably don't need.

Sale for 2-3 years and if ur good and professional enough, you'll move up. I have a degree and almost a masters so I'm extremely rare in the car business.

There's not a car finance job out there for less than a $100k/yr.

The second year I sold I made 70k

I understand but I try to be extremely respectful and try to sell people what they need. Not everything under the sun. I don't hide shite or anything like that and it works pretty well.

U gotta think about this, I work at a store that sells 60-70k dollar yukons and trucks. The people that buy these vehicles aren't stupid so you can't treat them that way.

I've literally argued with the last two I've dealt with. One told me that I was wrong on my sales tax rate (I was correct), and the other told me my insurance company doesn't offer GAP insurance and I have to buy it from them. This is after I told him I was just on the phone with my agent.

Man it's all about who u buy from. Some are desperate. We aren't necessarily. Our store runs on auto pilot which is weird in the business. We had our best month ever in august and sold 266 cars and the store made $660,000 in gross. we had a bad month in September and sold like 190 for $400k. Or something like that.

The real baller is my owner

He has 13 different dealerships.

One of those I listed was a shady dealership. The other is very reputable.

Gotcha. When I said who you buy from I meant the finance person. Not necessarily the dealership.
