Despite being 4-0, the saints have allowed a lot of pressure on Drew Brees and have produced almost no run game. A lot of the fault can be put on Charles Brown, the weak link in the offensive line. Would you want the saints to trade mark ingram and maybe a draft pick for a decent left tackle. With a run game, the saints offense would be above unstoppable.

I disagree. I think the interior part of the line has been most of the problem

How do you lay the blame on Brown? The interior has been the issue. On one run last night I saw Grubbs get his arse handed to him, the DLman pancaked his arse on the way to the RB.

They aren't going to draft/acquire a left tackle for at least another two seasons when they can see what Armstead does. Evans and Grubbs aren't going anywhere. Maybe De La Puente gets replaced. Strief most probably. They really don't have a lot of cap room to address it.

OT 's suck for the Saints again?
Brown and Strief are the highlights of a lowlight offensive line so far this year. I just don't get what people are watching? I give the line a B for pass def and a D- for the rushing game.

I agree. Brees is usually fine with outside pressure, but it's been bad on the inside with Grubbs. Grubbs and Jahri are the highest paid linemen and have been arguably the worst.

Y'all are right.
The pressure is coming from the inside.

Although last night, Brown was destroyed.
Check my PFF thread.

Grubbs and Evans have really stunk up the place in both run and pass plays. Brown isn't doing so well in pass protection. They better get this corrected if you want to have Drew Bress for the full season.

The line cannot move people in the running game.

The pass blocking has gotten better. I think a good handful of the sacks we've had has been due to Drew holding on for too long.

In the run game, dlP, Grubbs and Brown aren't getting a push. This is just attitude and effort, and from hearing CSP post game press conference, they might be in for an attitude adjustment.

It's hard to tell who's at fault.
This week, DLP had the best game.
Sometimes Evans plays better than Grubbs.
Sometimes worse.

Makes me think losing kroemer really is the problem.

I don't really think you can honestly blame just one person. In any given called run play, our line has been consistently pushed back

I will agree our run blocking sucks. If we don't get this corrected; we ill not win many games on the road. Gotta pack our defense and run game to be able to win on the road. Worried about this week's matchup because our run game sucks.

Gotta have run blocking for the cold weather in NYC in February!
Evans has been ailing and Lelito can't buy him time - tough call
dlP isn't overly bad - he was very good with Evans and Nicks
Grubbs has been the bad link and the biggest disappointment on the team so far this year
I don't think any of them are going to be replaced this season. We need to pray they find some gelling.
KRob seems to show some life in the run game. I'd like to see him carry the rock a little earlier in a game.

Jahri is playing with everything he's got. He's injured. The Staff is the issue for not having a reasonable backup plan in place going into the season.

Is the run blocking the result of more zone blocking this year? Maybe our guys just suck at zone blocking.

That's being generous, at least for the interior.
