It's arguably my favorite Dracula film. What do y'all think? Are there others that you like better? Interview with the Vampire?

Liked it.
But then, I like the book. And it was fairly faithful. Obviously it would have been hard to film in the exact same way, with the diary entries.

One of the most overrated movies I've ever seen. I've tried watching it multiple times and can never get through it. For the life of me I can't see why anyone likes it.

One of the best costume designs in all of movie history.
But love that movie. Great history behind it too.

Its a great film, but another movie that I chuckle through thanks to this man:
I love Interview with the Vampire.

I respect the film and like it alright, but its not my favorite Dracula or vampire movie.

There is no love relationship between Dracula and Mina in the novel. The movie is okay as a vampire film, but I wouldn't call it faithful to the book.
If only Orson Welles hadn't died when he did.

You must have missed a hell of a lot of context in the book. He was definitely enticing/seducing her in the book, and for Victorian times, euphemisms abound for orgasms and oral sex.

Personally I prefer Shadow of the Vampire
Funny, creepy, strange, intriguing all in one.

Saw it last year and thought it aged poorly.

I liked how they tied the story to the real Vlad the Impaler, although the part about him becoming a vampire because he cursed God is not part of the original legend, nor is it in Stoker's novel. As good as Gary Oldman was, Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves almost ruined the movie with their horrible acting and really bad British accents. I loved the girl who played Lucy though.
I wish that BBC would do another version. You know the Brits would get it right.

I barely made it through the movie. Didn't like it at all.

Personally I don't find any vampire movie where they don't sparkle in the sun to be legit.

A well-shot stinker. Watch Herzog's Nosferatu.
