Harvest has a decent beef jerky. I think it's made fresh everyday.

Sorry i didnt see this earlier, Alexanders Market makes their own. Its tasty. In the meat market

Depending on where you are located Junior's on hwy 16 between Port Vincent and French Settlement has very good jerky.

Inconsistent though. I've had some that was good and dry and then some that was moist as can be.

You are exactly right. Seasoning inconsistancies as well. A friend of mine from Nashville tried it and loved it... Wanted me to ship him some. I went and bought them out, shipped it and kept 1 bag. He and i tossed all I had purchased.
I spoke with the manager of the meat market and they are fixing this problem.
